Before the Fernie Ghostriders took to the ice on the last weekend in January, they were presented with a cheque for $4,000 as a contribution to their continuing education. Jesse Johnson of Fernie Ford handed over the cheque to Barb Anderson, president of the Ghostriders, and Dylan Robertson, team captain.
The money was raised as part of a special community event hosted by Ford called Drive One 4UR Community back in September 2014. [continue reading…]
