Fernie Ford participated in the DRIVE4UR SCHOOL! fundraising event this year. The event was held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 9:00 am at the Fernie Arena. Ford fans came test drive a vehicle to help out the Fernie Secondary School.
The DRIVE4UR SCHOOL! fundraising event is part of Ford’s DRUVE4UR Program that benefits schools and other community non-profit organizations. Starting back in 2010, it is the signature test drive fundraising program. A local Ford dealership partners with a school or charity organization to hold a fundraiser. In return for every completed test drive in a Ford vehicle, the company donates $20 to the charity or school up to $6,000.
Imagine getting to test drive your favourite Ford vehicle or trying out the newest model while helping a good cause. This year, Fernie Ford was excited to get involved in helping to raise money for the local school, Fernie Secondary School. This is the kind of event that is fun for the people and for Ford. Everyone has fun while raising money for a worthy need.
