Christmas Toy Drive

Wow, what a community we have here in Fernie! We collected a ton of items for the Fernie Women’s Resource Centre!

Residents of Fernie, thank you for your generosity!

All the toys have been taken to the Fernie Women’s Resource Center and they were ecstatic and very grateful.

The Fernie Women’s Resource Centre extend their ‘thank you’s’ everyone as we certainly added a great deal to their overall donation pile!

From new toys, used toys, coats and outwear, we completely fill our truck. This Toy Drive was a massive success thanks to our gracious customers and community.

We are so grateful to those who participated, we couldn’t have done it without them!

We will still be accepting toys this week if anyone missed the deadline. Folks still have a chance to bring toys our coats / outerwear by if they wish and we will ensure they get to the Fernie Women’s Resource Center in time for Christmas.

It’s Christmas time again and even though most families will be enjoying the holiday season with presents for the little ones, some families will be struggling to experience this same joy. At Legacy Ford Fernie, we believe in supporting our community, and so this Christmas season we are organizing a Toy Drive for the Fernie Women’s Resource Center.

We will be accepting donations from Dec. 3^rd – Dec. 14^th for children ages 0-12.

Please review the helpful information below if you plan on donating so we can be sure we’re assisting in the best way possible.

Presents for boys and girls ages 0-12
Gently used toys accepted
Cut-off date is Dec.14^th
If possible, please leave presents unwrapped (easier for parents to select an appropriate gift)
Feel free to include batteries for toys that require batteries to function (although it is not necessary)
No stuffed toys, please.

We will also be accepting donations of coats and artificial Christmas trees so everyone can stay warm and cheery this Christmas!
