Congratulations to Mike from Coleman, AB on his new 2019 F350 Lariat. He stopped in and saw us about trading in his Dodge Ram as it was time for an upgrade. With towing and family needs in mind, this Crew Cab with the Power Stroke Diesel engine was his perfect match. The Power Stroke engine has 935 ft/lbs of torque to handle all of Mikes towing needs while the Lariat Ultimate package allows him and his family to roll in style.
Stuart is a CP Rail employee from Jaffary, BC. He has quite the daily commute. He wanted something fuel efficient and nicely equipped. After driving a couple of different vehicles, he chose the 2018 Escape Titanium with the 2.0L Ecoboost. It has the fuel efficiency that he was looking for plus the power to climb over the mountain passes with ease. Ford X-Plan Pricing combined with rebates made it even easier for Stuart to take home his perfect vehicle.
Marvin called us looking for a specific truck and we had the truck he was looking for. Marvin and Susan are residents of Cranbrook so Sales Associate, James White brought the truck to them one evening last week for them to look at.
They loved it! They were looking to upgrade their current vehicle as they needed to haul more payload. After evaluating their trade and giving them a fair price on it, they came down to Legacy Ford Fernie to pick up their new truck.
Winnifred was invited to come down to our Private Sale. Sales Associate, James called her the first day of the sale to make sure she got her invitation. She said she did and mentioned that she didn’t think she could do anything until her current car (2016 Focus) was paid off more.
James offered for her to come in to see what we could do. She came in with her daughter Dorothy from Sparwood. She already knew she wanted an Ecosport and after taking it for a test drive and she loved it. Once we put a deal together, she was blown away. We actually got her payment less than she was paying on the Focus. She was ecstatic. Needless to say, she is the proud new owner of an Ecosport.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to earn your business and congratulations, Winnifred!
Congratulations to Darcy Bushko, owner of Solcomm Technologies Inc. in Cranbrook on his beautiful new Ford F-150. With the help of Sales Associate, Don Siska, Darcy will now be parking this new truck in his driveway! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to earn your business.
Keep your pets safe and secure in a well-ventilated crate or carrier
Gear your pet up for a long trip by taking them on short drives and gradually lengthen the travel.
Feed your pet a light meal 3-4 hours before the trip. Don’t feed your animal in the car.
Never leave your pet alone in a parked car. In hot weather the vehicle can turn into a furnace and your pet could get heatstroke. During cold weather, the car works like a refrigerator and will hold the cold air inside the car.
Take along a pet travelling kit. These include travel papers, food, a bowl, leash, waste scoop, plastic bags, grooming supplies, medication, a first aid kit and a favourite toy or pillow to give your pet a sense of the familiar.
If you see an animal alone in a parked car, do not break the window. Call the police and stay with the animal.
Marlie’s Dad, Paul, is a mechanic here at the dealership. He also has an Escape so Marlie was familiar with the vehicle and knew she wanted an Escape before coming in for a test drive. This is her very first brand new vehicle and she couldn’t be more excited! Marlie had her FordPass App downloaded before she even picked up her new vehicle. Her favourite features are the FordPass App, big screen, backup camera. She drove it straight to work this morning after picking it up. When she picked up the Escape, she said “The best day of her life besides graduation.”
Wow, what a community we have here in Fernie! We collected a ton of items for the Fernie Women’s Resource Centre!
Residents of Fernie, thank you for your generosity!
All the toys have been taken to the Fernie Women’s Resource Center and they were ecstatic and very grateful.
The Fernie Women’s Resource Centre extend their ‘thank you’s’ everyone as we certainly added a great deal to their overall donation pile!
From new toys, used toys, coats and outwear, we completely fill our truck. This Toy Drive was a massive success thanks to our gracious customers and community.
We are so grateful to those who participated, we couldn’t have done it without them!
We will still be accepting toys this week if anyone missed the deadline. Folks still have a chance to bring toys our coats / outerwear by if they wish and we will ensure they get to the Fernie Women’s Resource Center in time for Christmas.
Congratulations to Tannis & Pete on their new Chevy Traverse! They’ve just moved back from Australia and came in on their bikes and rode around the lot, looking for an SUV with AWD capabilities and space so Pete can pack some of his tools for work. We’re excited they gave us the opportunity to work with them during the buying process and look forward to seeing them again!
