Marlie’s Dad, Paul, is a mechanic here at the dealership. He also has an Escape so Marlie was familiar with the vehicle and knew she wanted an Escape before coming in for a test drive. This is her very first brand new vehicle and she couldn’t be more excited! Marlie had her FordPass App downloaded before she even picked up her new vehicle. Her favourite features are the FordPass App, big screen, backup camera. She drove it straight to work this morning after picking it up. When she picked up the Escape, she said “The best day of her life besides graduation.”

Wow, what a community we have here in Fernie! We collected a ton of items for the Fernie Women’s Resource Centre!
Residents of Fernie, thank you for your generosity!
All the toys have been taken to the Fernie Women’s Resource Center and they were ecstatic and very grateful.
The Fernie Women’s Resource Centre extend their ‘thank you’s’ everyone as we certainly added a great deal to their overall donation pile!
From new toys, used toys, coats and outwear, we completely fill our truck. This Toy Drive was a massive success thanks to our gracious customers and community.
We are so grateful to those who participated, we couldn’t have done it without them!
We will still be accepting toys this week if anyone missed the deadline. Folks still have a chance to bring toys our coats / outerwear by if they wish and we will ensure they get to the Fernie Women’s Resource Center in time for Christmas.
Wow! Thank you, everyone. Fernie is amazing!

When Kevan decided he was going to get a new Tundra, he was prepared to look across BC but found one right here in Fernie. Coming from a ‘Toyota family’, his brother owns a Tundra, and Kevin wanted one for his family as well. We had one right here at Legacy Ford Fernie and since the price was right, it’ll now find itself in their driveway. Such a nice family!

Flo was traveling from Alberta to her home in Merritt when her 2006 Focus SE suddenly started having mechanical problems. She limped into our Ford dealership and we were able to service her vehicle. While waiting for repairs to take place, Flo was interested in seeing if we had any options for her in regards to a new(er) used vehicle. She always wanted to own an SUV and we managed to get her into a used 2015 Ford Escape SE! She was very happy with the service and was able to enjoy the remaining leg her of her trip in her “new to her” Ford Escape. We had a blast with Flo, she brightened up everyone’s day!

Anita delivers the 5.0L V8 Engine video for all you V8 fans out there. This is a non-EcoBoost engine.
The specs of this engine, the towing capacity, max towing capacity is 11,600 lbs, and it has the Best-In-Class payload with this 5.0L V8, at 3,040 lbs. The horsepower of this engine is 395 and the torque is 400 lbs/ft.
So, that’s not too bad, Ford gives you Best-In-Class towing, Best-In-Class payload and Best-In-Class torque with a couple of different engine options.
